Karl Marx expected the proleterian uprising to occur in a developed industrial economy like Germany, not a backward agrarian one like Russia. That it transpired as it did is largely down to the History of Great Men, in this case, Lenin, whose return to Russia was facilitated by the Germans.
So if it had occurred the other way around Russia becomes a right wing military dictatorship, with the Tsar possibly in actual power, possibly deposed, possibly reduced to a mere figurehead. Most of Russias ills are blamed on da joos, whish to be honest hardly counts as alternate history. But as Russia industrialises, the pogroms take on a new tone, Jews are hustled onto trains and deported to death camps
Meanwhile, in the aftermath of WWI, then hyperinflation and the crash, Germany turns as predicted to Marxism. All goes well, and the apparent success is lauded in neigbouring nations where communist parties see gains, but the reality is that Germany's economy is a Marxist basket case, and the plan is to export Marxism and by happy coincidence rob conquered neighbours blind.
The German Socialist Peoples Republic remilitarises the Rhineland to defend against capitalist aggression, then annexes Austria then Czechoslovakia. Britain and France warn that to invade Poland would mean war but astonishingly, Germany concludes a secret treaty with the Antisemitic fascist government in Moscow and partitions Poland. Communists are interned in the UK and Oswald Moseley joins the war cabinet
Two year later however, having conquered France Germany reneges on the treaty and invades Russia
So........my question is this.
Would Churchill find an acceptable ally in the basically Nazi regime in Moscow? Or would the opinions of American Jews prevent this?
Plus any other questions you think are better
