Given the response of nearly all European countries amounted to the same mixture of measures with localised variance, with only Sweden taking a notably different path, I don't think it would have made any difference.

The only possible difference would have been the progress of the vaccine and whether the UK could have influenced the EU in that regard

We may have ended up in the EU PPE procurement and vaccine distribution processes. Their inefficiency would have added grist to the UKIP mill.
