Maybe slipped through since even the winners can't spell the name of the ward!

Blimey, that's an impressive Labour share from a standing start in a four-way contest

Redhill: Lab 50.2% LD 27.4% Con 13.9% UKIP 6.0% Green 2.5% Was 51% Labour, 31% Conservative and 18% UKIP in 2021, so quite a change. The Lib Dem’s clearly put in some effort and are locally very well organised, but still didn’t come close to winning. The Conservative vote collapsed as might be expected, as did the UKIP vote (18% must have been one of their best results in the entire country last year?). Labour should be reasonably happy to have held their vote share given the Lib Dem surge and the current/previous unpopularity of their local administration. Are they finally turning things around?

Well, I think we can be reasonably happy with that set - three holds, one gain, one promoted to the "maybe next time" column and a couple of standstill results. The Labour gain is from a party that has imploded, and the Tory gain was where there was no independent to defend a seat.

I’ve seen a tweet that Halton Holegate was ‘ roughly 2 to 1’.
This is the second East Lindsey by election this year where we have been looking for the actual numbers on the Friday. * insert joke about communications and time in rural Lincolnshire.

Incredible Lib Dem result in Neroche, South Somerset this was against a backdrop of the sacking of a very Senior Council Officer for gross misconduct with the Lib Dem Leader of the Council having questions to answer. With the elections to the new County Unitary authority taking place in May I imagine the Tories are bracing themselves for a potential disaster

There are currently 45 Conservative councillors in Sevenoaks and a vacancy in Fawkham and West Kingsdown.
I am very grateful to Middle Englander, because he enables me to check his data against mine.

On the excellent tables from middleenglander the Labour votes should read 153 not 253 just for anybody's interest, I am sure he will correct it in due course. I have messaged him
