There are reports that General Haftar is holding out an olive branch to recognise Israel if Israel provide him with logistical support for his election campaign. No brainer in my view, both for Israel to support him and everyone else.

On the contrary as I have argued before and elsewhere, the removal of Haftar from the scene is a precondition of any stabilization in Libya. |
