There are 42 cantonment boards across Pakistan and it looks like these elections were held in 39 of these. www.google.co.in/amp/s/www.dawn.com/news/amp/1646156It's funny to see the PTI described as Centrist though. Asia Elects goes all over the place on these classifications.

Not really. The PTI is a classic populist party, socially right wing and left wing/anti corruption economically. It's also the party backed by the military. All in all, a weird combination for a centrist party.

PPP is still very much in the game in rural Sindh. Their problem is that they’re now the third party in the Punjab (behind PML and PTI) as well as Karachi (behind PTI and MQM).
