The run off has been put back to 31st August, from the 8th, due to a complaint. I've no idea what the complaint was.

New President is Carlos Vila Nova of the opposition ADI. He won 57.54% of the vote. The President is more of a ceremonial figure with the Prime Minister having the real power. Turnout was c65% |
