1. North Lanarkshire: Fortissat - Labour gain from SNP
based on first preference votes
* relatively minor boundary changes
Swing: Labour to SNP 7% since 2017 by-election, 1¾% since 2017 and less meaningful ~7% since 2012 and ~10% since 2007
- Conservative actual vote over 50% up on 2017 by-election and just 2% down since 2017 main elections on much lower overall turnout.
Council now: 32 Labour, 29 SNP, 8 Conservative, 8 Independent
