She and her husband, and WWE, are facing what could be damaging sex abuse allegations. Seems like a prerequisite to be nominated for Trump’s cabinet. The lawsuit is I think more of a duty of care issue in that the company, of which she and her husband are/were sole directors, should have provided a safe space in which to work.

There will now be people 'Doing a Reeves' and quickly updating their CV and Linkedin page, in this case to include allegations against themselves of sexual abuse just so that they can be considered for a post in the Trump2 administration. I wonder if it's under "Necessary Qualifications" in the job description.

Although most of that great food is a consequence of immigration. Most of the crap food is as well. I wonder which group of incomers is most responsible for the utter abomination that is American "cheese".

Whilst noting that American Cheese and cheese from America are not the same thing (America does make some good cheese as Merseymike notes), it must be the Germans, the Dutch and the Scandies. Nowhere makes cheese as disgusting as Norway does, and Norwegian-Americans live heavily in dairy country, so they can be the culprit. But bland cheese made in squares, and the names Kraft and Heinz, do point firmly towards Germany.

Dutch is too rubbery.

It is mainly tasteless crap, but the best stuff is fresh and does not travel at all. Obadza, Spundekaes, Handkaes...all well worth a go. Although as a colleague says to me, "if you want good German food, you need to go to Austria"- theirs is really good.

Any chance we could stop talking about cheese in the US election thread? Sounding like a Liz Truss tribute act

You feel really quite superior about that post dont you? At least Bill Clinton actually received a blow job from an intern all you got was a share of the guilt. Linda McMahon almost sums up the chasm in understanding between Bien Pensants and the floating electorate who elected Trump. She has never worked in government, she has no clue or interest in how it works. All she wants to do is wreck it. All she and her husband have ever done is build a multi $bn business from nothing. What have you ever created?

No, its more than that. Vince over time became a Character in his own production, reality and script were blurred until only script existed. He played the part of a sex pest so convincingly that he became a sex pest. De Niro would understand. But why does $bn Linda McMahon age 79 wish to serve her nation in cabinet? Why does she get up at 7am every morning and put on a business suit and change suits at noon then work till 10pm? ?

Deporting people does not occur for the benefits of deporting people. It occurs for the benefit of scaring the living shit out of people considering coming illegally. To work it requires to be very visible and very brutal. The numbers are not even secondary. 100 young men quietly and humanely deported in respectful privacy achieves nothing. One nice family, a pretty woman and three kids, screaming in terror while her husband/their father is face down in the street with his hands cuffed behind his back and a spithood is being needlessly dragged over his face, shown on loop on CNN while well dressed an coiffed female anchors weep is what Trump and middle America require.

For once, Cenk said what we're all thinking. Lichtman trying to defend himself, and bizarrely denouncing criticism of him as "blasphemy" as if he's some sort of divine figure, is absurd. Hopefully this election was the last we'll hear from him and his "keys".

Vince isn’t the subject of the current legal complaint; it’s a now deceased former ring announcer, not knowing anything about WWE I can’t put a name to that description that appears in numerous media outlets.
