She’d be better off going for Congress

She’d be better off going for Congress She lives in DC and her roots are in Connecticut. Either way, it'd probably be a doomed bid and there's more money to be grifted out of a presidential than a Congressional campaign.

Very Presidential reply right there. De Santis is one to watch if the Trump clan don't run.

Someone who doesn’t know the difference between Khomeini and Khamenei ... is a requisite to become president of the USA ? no. you have to settle on knowing the difference between Iran and Iraq.

Very Presidential reply right there. De Santis is one to watch if the Trump clan don't run. Someone who doesn’t know the difference between Khomeini and Khamenei I don't think that's important really, is it? That sort of difference would be provided by advisers before any engagement. The media or that in any presidential run would have to be pretty pedantic to focus on such a minor error, to be frank.

Is a chance next election the rust belt goes red but the Democrats still win? Biden would have still won last time with Michigan and Wisconsin, and just about without Minnesota. If Pennsylvania was also to go the Democrats would need Texas or Florida to make up for it (or North Carolina if they also hold Minnesota). So while not likely, far from impossible.

I can definitely see a sun belt/rust belt realignment at the next election. Especially since rust belt will lose electoral votes cos of population loss.

Is Trump leaving people guessing or is him running in 2024 pretty much guaranteed?

Is Trump leaving people guessing or is him running in 2024 pretty much guaranteed? Guaranteed - this is Trump after all! His ego will allow him to nothing else plus he will want to, as he sees it, "correct" the 2020 result. I believe he has raised a lot of money for his PAC. Of course - even in the US to a degree - you don't outright say so but create a spontaneous uprising (may be literally in Trump's case) of people saying you must run... I guess the only thing preventing him will be the various court cases, it coming out that his finances are in bad shape etc. I say this on the basis that so far all my prediction on US politics on the forum have been completely and utterly wrong - so hopefully.... --- www.cnbc.com/2021/04/06/donald-trump-save-america-pac-has-85-million-on-hand-ahead-of-midterms.html
