How would the politics of 2020 played out if there had been no Covid 19 this year?
Differently or not?

We’d still be boring ourselves to death with Brexit.
BLM probably not far behind on the political agenda.

Well, yes. We'd have had the local elections in May for starters. Boredom over the Brexit process is small beer compared to COVID-19.

And those local elections would surely not have been great for Labour, even if Starmer gave them a bit of a "new leader" boost.
So he could be said to have dodged a bit of a bullet there, come May next year things could be looking rather different.
