The parliament was elected last SunDay. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2020_Serbian_parliamentary_electionMost of the opposition boycotted, making the TurnOut-figures those most important. Presently it's 50%, finally perhaps 48%, without some BallotStuffing here&there ~40-45%? Formerly it has been between 53% and 61%.

Today were elected:
- President (regularily) - Parliament (irregularily) - Belgrade CityCouncil (and few other municipalities)
The opPosition took part this time (unlike parl.elec.2020), but anything else than a reElec. of Vucic is unimaginable... Of course, Belgrade is most likely for an upSet (but that is - according to OpinionPolls - also not so likely).

Most interesting will surely be, whether decidely&openly proRussian forces - Vucic is astonishingly ambiguous here for someone deriving from the nationalists - will achieve BreakThroughs or not.

While, inevitably, Vucic won the presidency comfortably, his parliamentary party fell short of a majority (but I doubt that presents any problem). The election process and campaign activities (I hadn't heard of the Bulgarian Train vote buying system) are likely to be problematic for EU entry talks.

I had but the term was new to me before reading the wikipedia article... the guy who explained the system to me over the internet 10? years ago was a Bulgarian.

OpinionPolls: Yes, the race has been narrowing, but it's still hard to see the "perennial" coalition of SNS with SPS&JL being deselected. (And by whom? A coalition of SPN with the nationalists?)

Media claim, that with 80% counted SNS+ is at 46.6%, but their allies - Milosevic's SPS+ - have fallen to 6%. The main opPosition is at just 23%.
BelgradeCity or the Voivodina could be narrow, but considering the federal overPerFormance the government should be ahead there as well.

In the last few hours the official site has not shown anything any longer: www.rik.parlament.gov.rs/542645/rezultati/But SNS+ is hovering around 50%, the Opp. at 23%, SPS+ at 7%, NewDSS&monArchists at 5% like an antiVaccination-list (which came from noThing, but some like me had speculated them to overperform strongly). The radical nationalists (Dveri&OathKeepers) will likely fail to cross the 3%-hurdle. All in all certainly a big victory for Vucic and a disaster for the opPosition* - and all this under inFlation and lots of criminality and the government's unpopular balancing concerning Ukraine&Kosovo (Putin is the popularest politician in Serbia...). *The leftliberal opPosition clings to "fraud" and points to a pollingStation in a stadium, where Bosnian Serbs were allowed to vote - but when it stands 50%:23%...
