I wonder if there's anyone so politics obsessed that they spend their entire life making sure they don't ever live in a constituency represented by a party they don't like, or vice versa.

I seem to recall a sirbenjamin, previously of this parish*, who was quite insistent on living only in areas held by the Conservatives across multiple levels of government, or something like that. * Account's still here, but he hasn't logged in for ages.

Yes and no. He moved to Caterham (from Wandsworth I think). Obviously his constituency did fall to the Lib Dems via defection but has returned to the fold. I think he was upset because the Conservatives have suffered disaster locally in Tandridge subsequently (although his ward still has Conservative councillors) and the Lib Dems gained the county council seat in 2017

In reverse order: Mary Robinson, Conservative, Cheadle. Steve Brine, Conservative, Winchester. Kate Green, Labour, Stretford & Urmston. Paul Goggins, Labour, Wythenshawe & Sale East. Various Belgian MPs, but the top candidate would have been Jose Happart, Parti socialiste, Province of Liege. Evan Harris, Lib Dem, Oxford West & Abingdon. Beverley Hughes, Labour, Stretford & Urmston. Winston Churchill, Conservative, Davyhulme.

If I go with "where i have lived" it would then be (from newest to oldest residence ) Nord 2nd, Insoumis Ugo Bernalicis Nord 1st, Insoumis Adrien Quattenens Nord 5th, LR Sébastien Huyghe Now if I only take into account constituencies I was registered to vote, it would eliminate the 1st (I was still registered at my parents' place and I voted there) If it is who was my MP where I lived it would be (from now to birth) Nord 2nd Insoumis Ugo Bernalicis Nord 2nd PS Audrey Linkenheld Nord 1st PS Bernard Roman Nord 5th LR Sébastien Huyghe Nord 5th PS Martine Aubry Nord 5th PS Bernard Davoine Nord 5th PS Denise Cacheux I see I forgot one year of my life. The right answer is rather: Nord 2nd, Insoumis Ugo Bernalicis Nord 1st, Insoumis Adrien Quattenens Nord 5th, LR Sébastien Huyghe Siena, PD Pier Carlo Padoan Nord 5th, LR Sébastien Huyghe For the "MP at the time I was there" I might need the help of andrea : was there an MP specifically for the Siena area between september 2011 and august 2012 ? I must say I've never been able to remember all the different election rules in Italia.

I must say I've never been able to remember all the different election rules in Italia. 2011-12 was within the 2008-2013 term when we had full PR. So there were 38 MPs at the Camera and 18 at the Senate representing Tuscany as a whole.

MPs for where I've lived:
Chi Onwurah, Newcastle upon Tyne Central Ian Mearns, Gateshead Layla Moran, Oxford West and Abingdon
It's harder to work out who the MPs were at the time I lived in those constituencies. Specifically, I don't know whether my first MP would have been David Clelland or Jim Cousins - I was only a very young child when I lived there and I don't know along which road the Tyne Bridge - Newcastle Central boundary ran in the West End of Newcastle. I was definitely represented by Clelland from 2001 onwards when we moved across the river, and then it was Ian Mearns and Layla Moran as above.
A very disappointing list politically though - all of my MPs seem to have been well to the left of their parties! I'll have to move to somewhere like Wokingham after I graduate.

So I would have started off with Jim Cousins before David Clelland.

Going backwards: Coutinho, Gyimah, Foxcroft, Ruddock, McDonagh, Mole, McDonagh, Rumbold, Douglas-Mann.
I guess the most interesting feature is that I've been a constituent of both a Labour-SDP defector and a Tory-LD one.
Current MPs for all the seats I've lived in are Coutinho, Foxcroft, McDonagh and Tom Hunt.

I once bought a house from Madeline Moon - who went on to become an uninspiring MP for Bridgend.
Or am i taking the question too literally..?

1977-1995 WalsSiezenheim (SubUrb of SalzburgCity), mayors: Koch (ÖVP) until 1982, Bieringer (ÖVP); the latter having been in ÖVP's federal presidency (~32 members) and like 2 others MP in the small chamber ("BundesRat"), 1 in the big chamber, several in the LandTag - not bad for a 10.000-municipality!
1995-now SalzburgCity, mayors: 1995-1999 Dechant (ÖVP), 1999-2017 Schaden (SPÖ), 2017-now Preuner (ÖVP).
In summer sometimes in Elixhausen, another ÖVP-governed SubUrb, where the present ministra of the PMO in Vienna comes from.
Regional FMs:
1977 (4 days) Lechner (ÖVP) 1977-1989 Haslauer sen. (ÖVP, a relative) 1989-1996 Katschthaler (ÖVP) 1996-2004 Schausberger (ÖVP, neighbour & one of my univ.-professors) 2004-2013 Burgstaller (SPÖ) 2013-now Haslauer jr. (ÖVP, ex-neighbour, naturally also a relative)
