The pedantry of this forum will keep me sharp in old age. Pedantry is this forum's middle name and rightly so in my opinion. Would that be Vote UK Pedantry Forum or Vote Pedantry UK Forum? Do we need a poll?

Nor have you mentioned the most famous residents of the seat who have put it on the map. Do the large number of additional candidates get their campaigns from Hooky Street? How would the Only Fools & Horses characters have voted? I’d say: Del - Conservative Rodney - Labour/Green Grandad - Labour Uncle Albert - Conservative Racquel - Labour Cassandra - Conservative Boycie & Marlene - Conservative Trigger - Labour Mike - Conservative Denzil - Labour Mickey Pearce - Labour Roy Slater - Conservative Cassandra’s parents - Conservative Driscoll Brothers - BNP Not many obvious Lib Dem characters. Cassandra maybe the likeliest LibDem IMO, I agree her parents would be Tory.

Many of the characters had moved even in the 1980s such as Boycie and Marlene. Cassandra’s parents lived in Blackheath. Clearly some of the other characters have been dead a while.

She’d have definitely been a Remainer so maybe a Lib Dem since 2016. and Del Boy wouldn’t be on the electoral role as he is to the taxman legally dead I think he’d have still found a way to vote even if as a proxy for someone else. He was clearly a very committed Conservative and Thatcher supporter.

And one of the reasons why Robert's constituency profiles were and are so good is that you can't detect any political outlook in favour of one party or another in them. On the other hand, Byron Criddle's MPs' profiles were mostly very good because he hates almost everybody. Quoted to confirm ...

Cassandras parents lived in Blackheath.

I would simply reiterate again that there's nothing to stop different people submitting alternative profiles for the same constituency. Don't be afraid to do this; it shouldn't imply disrespect to the thread starter, but supplements their insights. There are enough knowledgeable people here to scrutinise, offer constructive feedback and highlight any inaccuracies, take off partisan slants - whether made intentionally or not - which will eventually result in the publication of a brilliant book. Quoted to like .... I really don't wish to see this 'Almanac' sub-board degenerate into negativity and criticism. As Swanarcadian says, multiple entries on a constituency are very welcome indeed - variety is the spice of life (tell me about it, in this 'lockdown' ...). I am beginning to develop some ideas about what I/we may be able to do with all this work, much of it splendid so far, in due course. The more different profiles, the better, from that and may point of view.

It would have been nice to have had an election episode in Only Fools and Horses, with Del and Rodney sporting different coloured rosettes (as we saw between Rigsby and the boys in the Rising Damp episode of Stand up and be Counted). The closest we came to one was when Rodney was elected Chairman of the local Tenants Association with just two others in attendance.

The filming was done on Broad Walk, Winchmore Hill.

I imagine the cast didn’t want something too divisive as it might have damaged the collegiate atmosphere on the set of Only Fools as some of the cast such as Roger Lloyd Pack were clearly on the Left and others such as David Jason and John Challis clearly are not based on comments they have made.

Surely Trigger would have cast a spoiled ballot paper? Or put a cross against the one he didn't want?

The pedantry of this forum will keep me sharp in old age. at the risk of being accused of pedantry, that wasn't pedantry by Swanarcadian. touché
