There is already a Populus thread Worth noting that they haven't produced a January VI survey for the Times - not yet anyway.

I think Ashcroft is in effect such distinct polling that a different thread is sensible.

Apparently there were two polls - the phone survey gave the figures already mentioned, but an internet poll (with more respondents, too) found Lab 39 Con 32 UKIP 13 LibDem 10. I presume the phone findings were used because that is the usual Populus modus vivedni......
Also, the poll(s) was taken last weekend - seemingly the height of the Tory "bounce".

Ian, I haven't worked out whether you want UKIP to do well to damage the Tories or badly because you feel they are politically worse.

Ian, I haven't worked out whether you want UKIP to do well to damage the Tories or badly because you feel they are politically worse. with respect to our UKIP friends here, my experience of them locally and what I see of Farage means if they ever got a whiff of power might as well shut down the country, the lunatics will have taken over. Of course the UKIP vote damages the tories, however let him pander to the right fringe because the more Cameron believes the rubbish spewed out from his right side the more we will definitely win.

That reminds me, what happened to the ignore function with this upgrade and all? It's in your profile settings: go to profile > Edit profile > privacy and it's at the bottom of the page

Truth hurts Pete ?
As I said it is my experience of UKIPPERS locally and Farage on TV I cast no aspirations on those here. Lets face it you and Pimp are miles apart apart from one issue.

Sometimes it does I'm sure, but I've no worries about that from your direction. More like reading tedious and incoherent drivel is a waste of my time and energy
