today.
Obviously very flawed, but lets rise above being precious. The nation has no history of democracy, a populace that don't get it, no party structure beyond a party committed to a abolishing democracy, a near absolute monarchy which is undoubtedly popular with more than just the elite, ..............
.....................Its no good saying I wouldn't start from here. They are starting from here. Like the Saudis appointing some token princesses to a toothless advisory body, what more could they do as a first step?

Wrong website Robin. (When I was a kid I had a friend whose little brother was called Jordan). Anyway, I think boog is hinting that a legislative election is taking place today in the country of Jordan. I'm not familiar with the political parties of Israel. Jordan is even more obscure.

GeneralElections happened this week. el.wikipedia provides some stuff, also this map of the TurnOut (30% - the lowest so far): An islamist party was reduced from 10 to 5, another one held its 5, nationalSocialists (around Baath) gained 1 (their sole one), also a party called "Faith". 112/130 are Independents.
