A quick look and theres not many obvious marginals - perhaps Overton (Lancaster DC) which is close between the two main parties and a general election turnout may make a difference? The Greens will fancy their chances in Newport West (IofW) As a Redingensian, I can tell you Kentwood is a marginal but one which is trending against us in the local elections and one we need to win to win Reading West. This will be a very interesting result, particularly being on the same day as the GE.

ElectionMapsUK with a very helpful guide including previous results and candidates. Given that, I think on this occasion, I'll save myself the bother of adding recent results to the opening posts here. Too much else to do.

If both counts were happening at the same time, the council one would be over with more quickly since there would be far less votes to count.

Why have they counted that first? Ballot boxes from one Ward arrive more quickly than those for an entire constituency, so might as well count while they wait?
