Schedule 9 covered four divisions of Surrey: Epsom (132,818), Mitcham (103,162), Eastern (76,659) and Reigate (62,594). It also included the divided Parliamentary Borough of Croydon (North Division 85,396, South Division 78,874), and the undivided Boroughs of Kingston-upon-Thames (86,325) and Wimbledon (92,798).

The Commission created a new single-member Borough in Mitcham (the Municipal Boroughs of Beddington and Wallington and Mitcham) 67,253, and Sutton and Cheam (the Municipal Boroughs of Sutton and Cheam) 54,653.

A new Carshalton division of Surrey consisted of the Urban Districts of Banstead and Carshalton (55,190).

A redrawn Epsom division was to consist of the Municipal Boroughs of Epsom and Ewell, the part of the Municipal Borough of Surbiton previously in Epsom, and the parts of the Urban District of Esher previously in Kingston-upon-Thames, and the Urban District of Leatherhead (63,770).

The revised Eastern division lost the parts of the South ward of the County Borough of Croydon, of the Municipal Borough of Beddington and Wallington, and the Urban District of Carshalton. It gained the parts of the Urban District of Coulsdon and Purley previously in Croydon South, Mitcham or Reigate. (77,756)

The revised Reigate division lost the parts of the Municipal Borough of Epsom and Ewell, the Urban Districts of Banstead, Coulsdon and Purley, and Leatherhad. It gained the parts of the Urban District of Dorking and the Rural District of Dorking and Horley which were previously in Epsom. (57,264)

The North Division of Croydon lost the part of the Municipal Borough of Mitcham, but gained the parts of Norbury and West Thornton wards which were previously in Mitcham. (85,415)

The South Division of Croydon lost of the Municipal Borough of Beddington and Wallington, and the Urban District of Coulsdon and Purley. It gained the part of the South ward previously in Eastern Surrey, and the part of Waddon ward previously in Mitcham. (78,883)

Kingston-upon-Thames lost the parts of the Municipal Boroughs of Epsom and Ewell and Sutton and Cheam and of the Urban District of Esher. It gained the part of the Municipal Borough of Malden and Coombe previoulsy in Epsom. (85,625)

Wimbledon lost the parts of the Municipal Boroughs of Mitcham and Sutton and Cheam, and the Urban District of Carshalton. It gained the parts of the Municipal Borough of Wimbledon and the Urban District of Merton and Morden which were previously in Mitcham. (92,787)

Schedule 10 covered two divisions of West Sussex: Horsham and Worthing (100,834), and Chichester (92,222).

The Commission created a new Horsham division consisting of the Urban Districts of Horsham, Shoreham-by-Sea and Southwick, and the Rural Districts of Horsham and Chanctonbury. (53,108)

The new Worthing division consisted of the Municipal Borough of Worthing and the Rural District of Worthing (63,004).

The revised Chichester division lost the parts of the Municipal Borough of Worthing and of the Rural District of Worthing (76,944).

The final Schedule covered the Borough of Coventry (87,487), four Divisions of Warwick: Nuneaton (112,503), Tamworth (118,131), Rugby (49,252) and Warwick and Leamington (79,789), the Bosworth Division of Leicester (55,627), and the Lichfield Division of Stafford (93,919).

The Commission created an enlarged and divided Parliamentary Borough of Coventry, consisting of the County Borough of Coventry (153,912). The East division consisted of the All Saints, Foleshill, Hernall, Hill Fields, Longford, Lower Stoke, St. Mary's, St. Paul's, Upper Stoke and Walsgrave wards (76,860). The West Division consisted of the Bablake, Cheylesmore, Earlsdon, Grey Friars, Radford and Westwood wards (77,052).

The revised Nuneaton division consisted of the Municipal Borough of Nuneaton, the Urban District of Bedworth, and the Rural District of of Atherstone (59,884).

A new Solihull division consisted of the part of the County Borough of Birmingham previously in Tamworth, and the Urban District of Solihull (53,236).

A new Sutton Coldfield division consisted of the Municipal Borough of Sutton Coldfield, and the rural Districts of Meriden and Tamworth (57,681).

The Rugby division added the part of the Rural District of Rugby previously in Nuneaton (51,104).

The Warwick and Leamington division lost the part of the County Borough of Coventry, but gained the part of the Rural District of Stratford-on-Avon previously in Tamworth, and the part of the Rural District of Warwick previously in Nuneaton or Tamworth. (70,943)

The Bosworth division lost the part of the Municipal Borough of Nuneaton and the Rural District of Atherstone. It gained the part of the Urban District of Hinckley previously in Nuneaton (55,473).

The Lichfield division lost the part of the Municipal Borough of Sutton Coldfield, but gained the part of the Municipal Borough of Tamworth previously in Tamworth division. (94,475)

I have sometimes thought it would be fun (depending what one means by "fun") to have the parliamentary constituency boundaries set in stone as they were in 1945. Boundaries being changed every so often is one of the things which annoys psephologists and anoraks who want to follow long-term trends.
