Let's get this back to when men were men and some seats being twice at least seven times the size of others didn't mean a fuss.
Does anyone have the compositions of the 45 new seats created out of the 20 over-sized ones by the 'interim' boundary review in 1945? (Paging hullenedge, David Boothroyd, et al) The 1945 Times Guide is silent on these matters, though it devotes an entire chapter in 1950 to the 1948 review.
(Correction: just looking back over the 1945 Times Guide and noting the postage stamp seats in London versus the shire seats that just didn't tip 100,000 in 1939 though they did in 1945)

It does seem to be an area where information (and mapping ) was often lacking, but as I now have Young's Guide to th Local Administrative units of England (Vol 1) i can fill any gaps in my knowledge (and yours). Do you have any specific seats you want to ask about as I don't especially fancy typing out the lot

I've got the Boundary Commission Report (Cmd. 6634) if you're after any information from that.

I've got the Boundary Commission Report (Cmd. 6634) if you're after any information from that. Oh! Do you - could you - would you please, if it's not too much trouble, say, scan in the compositions of the 45 seats? Maybe put it up on here; I should greatly appreciate it. Many thanks. If of course you wanted to scan in the whole thing to Photobucket or something, a la hullenedge, that would be even better.

Were there absolutely no boundary changes between 1918 and 1935? I know there weren't any major ones but not whether any minor adjustments took place.

There were none. Until 1944 the Boundary Commissions did not have any ongoing existence so there was no body making interim recommendations. This meant that a lot of boundaries had become detached between local government and Parliamentary elections by 1939.

Other South East
Barnet CC: Barnet UD, East Barnet UD, Elstree RD St Albans CC: St Albans MB, St Albans RD (pt) Welwyn Garden City UD, Hatfield RD* Both of these created fromt he previous St Albans CC * My source does not reveal the location of Hatfield RD at this time. It was of course in St Albans up until 1945 and was certainly in Barnet from 1950-55 when it was removed to the new Hertford seat. My assumption is that it remained with St Albans from 1945-50 but I lok forward to clarification on this point (there are some omissions from my source - the same also omits to mention that St Albans MB formed part of the St Albans division at this time, but I think this was a rather safer assumption to make on my part
Eton & Slough CC: Eton RD, Eton UD, Slough MB Wycombe CC: Hambledon RD, Marlow UD, Wycombe RD, Chipping Wycombe MB Both entirely within the previous Wycombe CC except for parts of Wycome RD which were in Aylesbury CC

Were there absolutely no boundary changes between 1918 and 1935? I know there weren't any major ones but not whether any minor adjustments took place. Northern Ireland was cut down from twenty-nine to twelve territorial seats in 1922 (plus Queen's University which was unchanged) but otherwise there were no changes.
