I should say that my position is due to persistence. There have been predictors regularly stronger than me, not only Pete but in the real olden days I recall Greatkingrat and Dizz were the big hitters; and there may well have been others even before then.

Most of the work for the old stuff was done last year, and I've just updated it with the 2018 data. I don't think anyone has access to data earlier than the start of the forum as now constituted , i.e. April 2012. Yes this table is about long term commitment to this competition, persistence if you like, but its also quite interesting to see the people who dip in and out and only bother when it looks particularly interesting, or when they think they have a special insight. The competition is better for having both sorts of competitor. |

I also note the advice from Davıd Boothroyd re layout, for which thanks - but tbh, I cannot be arsed to go through and relay it all now, but will remember how to do it if I survive long enough to do the 2019 edition! |

And now for the update of the all time statistics, "all time" in this context meaning since the restarting of this forum during 2012, there being no consistent records before that time.Basically, I'm just adding this year's figures on to the data I had put together over the previous two years. I would just say it was easier to get in in the past when some of the time there were less than 10 competitors, so however bad you were you still got a top 10 place. Now it is possible to post regularly on this and even do quite well at times but never get a monthly top 10 place. johnloony is the obvious example. 55 people now have a qualifying entry.
