Today is the 100th anniversary of the 1918 election, an event that is perhaps understandably getting more attention in Ireland than in GB (though given that it ultimately led to partition and the Irish border we all know and love today, you might think more people would be noting its topical significance.) RTE is doing a special re-enactment broadcast of the election in Ireland tonight, which may be worth a watch: www.rte.ie/news/ireland/2018/1214/1017108-100th-anniversary-of-the-1918-general-election/

Unless you like seeing one party winning just about every seat up for grabs, I can't see such a broadcasting re-enactment being particularly exciting. Unless the election covers the whole of the UK rather than what is now the Republic of Ireland.

I wonder if they will re-enact Dev's rule. That'd be something.
