5 Labour councillors on Middlesbrough UA to Independent following deselection . One of the 5 had in fact won his appeal against deselection but has still resigned Which would leave Labour with a majority of just 2 on the council for the next year.

Not exactly notable! You're like an eagle I only changed my group less than an hour ago. I decided it's best I put myself non-aligned because I'm always changing my mind and flapping all over the place. I'll probably ask Kris to put me back into a group once all the parties have put out a General Election manifesto and I've carefully thought about all of them.

Could I ask what was it that caused you to leave the Lib Dems so soon after joining them?

I'll probably ask Kris to put me back into a group once all the parties have put out a General Election manifesto and I've carefully thought about all of them. Could I ask what was it that caused you to leave the Lib Dems so soon after joining them? I shouldn't have joined them in the first place I jumped the gun really. I should have waited until everyone put out their 2015 general election manifestos. Tonight's performance was pathetic and showed that the Lib Dems are on the losing side of the arguement but from all the interviews with Lib Dems saying they're on the right side of history and they'll stick to their guns and they're staying firmly pro-EU I just thought "dear god, no." Not a single one of those I saw interviewed had a different opinion. If I lived in another area of the country it'd probably be easier to decide what I want to do but the Nick Harvey factor makes it very difficult here. Not exactly notable! You are in danger of becoming the Winston Mckenzie of this board! Yes I think that's why I'll wait until the 2015 General Election manifestos are out there so I can carefully think about what party I really belong in. It doesn't help that my views on things are changing all the time now that I'm growing up and experiencing new things and meeting a lot more different types of people.

This isn't a shock. It was clear Drew's support was a personal one for Nick Harvey.

This isn't a shock. It was clear Drew's support was a personal one for Nick Harvey. And Drew isn't alone in that in North Devon, which is why Harvey will comfortably retain his seat next year.

Cannock Chase DC, Rawnsley ward. Jodie Jones moved from Con to Ind the day after the elections.
Rawnsley is a two member ward, last year the other councillor went from tory to UKIP, on Thursday UKIP held that seat.
Is indie a halfway house to another party?
Her defection means that UKIP is the main opposition on the council with six seats to the tory five.
