Was he a Top/Prominent Labour Parish councillor? A school crossing supervisor defecting to MK would be news, but didnt he stand in for Labour in North Dorset 2010 and was previously a Cornwall county councillor. |

Labour would be the obvious suggestion, now they are trying their best to be a hard left testimonial party. I really do not see Labour as Hard Left - never have. I have seen some crazy branches and CLP's, but they were always in the minority. |

He was described as living locally in Dorset when he stood there and when he resigned as a Cornwall county councillor it was stated this was because he had started to teach in Cornwall, having previously been teaching in Devon.... |
