I only just received this, and I've been out of contact with the party for a while (someone never got back to me - I got tired of that happening so I decided to focus on my studies).

Labour would be the obvious suggestion, now they are trying their best to be a hard left testimonial party.

I'm a little out of the loop, in terms of British Politics, and that is inexcusable.

Was he a Top/Prominent Labour Parish councillor? A school crossing supervisor defecting to MK would be news, but didnt he stand in for Labour in North Dorset 2010 and was previously a Cornwall county councillor.

Labour would be the obvious suggestion, now they are trying their best to be a hard left testimonial party. I really do not see Labour as Hard Left - never have. I have seen some crazy branches and CLP's, but they were always in the minority.

He was described as living locally in Dorset when he stood there and when he resigned as a Cornwall county councillor it was stated this was because he had started to teach in Cornwall, having previously been teaching in Devon....

Was he a Top/Prominent Labour Parish councillor? A leading or senior one maybe? See, I told you Corbyn would lead to mass defections.
