I thought UKIP wanted the Human Rights repealed anyway? We want to repeal the Human Rights Act, which does not mean that we do not support natural justice and the rule of law. We just want them moderated by the Daily Mail.

Thomas Edwin Ankers, formerly Conservative Borough Councillor in Crewe & Nantwich, then Independent, then Conservative again (kissy kissy makey uppy) is, I understand, standing for UKIP in May.
I am not surprised!
(During his second spell as a Conservative he produced one of the most hilariously illiterate leaflets I've ever seen.)

It seems Lesley Winter (Con, Bushey North ward on Hertsmere) intends to contest the seat as an Independent having been deselected ahead of the all-out elections

Ah, the sweet smell of people claiming to represent "an escape from politics as usual" indulging in a cartoon version of "politics as usual".

Ah, the sweet smell of people claiming to represent "an escape from politics as usual" indulging in a cartoon version of "politics as usual". This'll make you laugh - A Salford and Eccles poll 'apparently' puts the Reality Party 1% ahead of labour. www.salfordstar.com/article.asp?id=2684It is the Salford Star so take everything you read with a massive bowl full of salt.

I was thinking that they couldn't even spell YouGov right. I then read the comments and realised it was an April Fools Day story.

Former Labour councillor. Multiple-time unsuccessful Independent candidate. Tried and failed to be selected as our Westminster candidate for Glasgow Central. Has taken the huff accordingly.

You have flippin' big membership cards in the Liberal Democrats, but they say size isn't everything.

Something doesn't seem right there. What's not right is that that doesn't seem to be a real membership card. The text doesn't curve in line with how the yellow sheet of paper is curving at the edge; it's almost as if someone has edited the photo by superimposing the text onto the image.
