The Lib Dems end up voting through the 2013 boundary changes and the 2015 election is fought on the new boundaries.
What impact does that have? We'll only have 600 MPs and it is likely the Tories would have won a larger working majoirty in 2015. Larger but not massively so. But arguably enough to make a snap election in 2017 far less tempting.
I haven't checked to see if those changes would have led to any high profile casualities or whether Ed Balls would have kept his seat in that scenario.

Realistically, this would only have happened if (1) The AV Referendum had gone the other way and/or (2) Lords reform had passed. I think either of those would have had more impact than the effect of the boundary changes themselves.

Pretty sure this one has been done before..... Apologies if it has. I hadn't seen it and thought it was topical today.
