From the 'Annual Abstract of Greater London Statistics', Volume 8. Link here. Note the pdf begins with a blank page. This is so the pages line up when you use Acrobat Reader's 'two page view' for the parts where an index on the verso refers to stats on the recto.

Interesting stuff there, from what I can gather on those statistics on pre right to buy, back in 1971 Sutton and Cheam had a lot less social housing than any other London constituency seat. The old municipal borough used to quite often elect a full slate of Tory councillors with only the Central ward being competitive. In contrast Sutton, Carshalton however was more similar to Mitcham and Morden back then due to sharing the St Helier Estate, the only difference being that the Mitcham seat lacked very affluent commuter belt areas like Carshalton Beeches and Wallington South.

1981 census data by contituency can be found in British Parliamentary Constituencies: A Statistical Compendium, published in 1984. This book also provides the 1979 notionals.
