An idea I had some time ago- US presidents are often listed by state of primary affiliation and state of birth. Would anyone be interested in working this out collectively, with a view to creating a proper list, for British prime ministers? For example, May is Sussex by birth and presumably Berkshire by primary affiliation.

When listing the county of birth, I'm assuming that we'd use county that the birthtown was in at the time, as opposed to where it is now (if such a discrepancy exists)?
For post World War II PMs I think it'd be something like this:
(Name:Party:Birth County:County of Constituency when in Office)
Theresa May, Conservative, Sussex, Berkshire David Cameron, CON, Greater London, Oxfordshire Gordon Brown, Labour, Renfrewshire, Fife Tony Blair, LAB, Midlothian(?), County Durham John Major, CON, Surrey, Cambridgeshire Margaret Thatcher, CON, Lincolnshire, Greater London James Callaghan, LAB, Hampshire, Glamorganshire Harold Wilson (2nd Time), LAB, Yorkshire, Merseyside Edward Heath, CON, Kent, London Harold Wilson (1st Time), LAB, Yorkshire, Lancashire Alec Douglas-Home, CON, London, Kinross/Perthshire Harold Macmillan, CON, London, Kent Anthony Eden, CON, County Durham, Warwickshire Winston Churchill, CON, Oxfordshire, Essex Clement Attlee, LAB, Surrey, London then Essex

There are quite a few problems with associating our PMs with particular ceremonial counties. The list might now be technically correct according to the conditions laid down, but they are pretty misleading nevertheless. Take Harold Macmillan, for instance. I blinked at the thought of HM as a Kentish man (clearly not a Man of Kent) on the basis that he became MP for Bromley, which was once in Kent but now is firmly London. But Macmillan was ever associated with Stockton, and on retirement became Earl Stockton, not Earl Bromley, which indicates where his heart was, maybe.
I can see fun coming up if you delve further back in history not least with the GOM.
