Yeah, it's not the same although there isn't anything stopping a challenge that everyone knows is going nowhere as a precursor to a proper one.

How on earth can we make progress with him when 70% of our party is pro Brexit and the remainders would just vote lab/lib dem anyway. You avoid losing elections by getting your side out as seen earlier this year and he would completely demotivate our base. |

He's too old anyway but even without that there's the EU/Euro issue. Totally unsuited to the job. |
