That image isn't displaying. Here’s the raw numbers: I'm not sure those figures are correct. I think you've been sold a pup.

There has been an uptick in the number of members requesting to join the Socialist forum group - which I'd thought had been almost forgotten - in recent hours.
It doesn't imply support for the Socialist Party or any other political party (I could make a separate one for that if needs be), but it is there for anyone who considers themselves a socialist (with a small S). At present there is no private room for its five members, but I could create one on request.

Not everyone in the red room is Labour, we have coop members and we've asked SDLP members to join. Also discussed as a group whether to invite NDP members too and if we ever had any Manx members. I know its not the same but as socialist is term and not a party and the red room is open to others, as long as people on both are happy seems like good compromise

I misread that as NPD members for a minute. That would have been a bit different.

An unintended historical nod.

Maybe one of you could run some polls to see if you want to invite guest participants into your room, based either on individuals or members of "sister parties" and so on.

Is there a reason why we couldn't have both? A Labour room for Labour members and supporters and a "socialist" room for anyone from any party or unaligned who considers themselves a small-s socialist?

I can confirm a Socialist room is now open. I was wondering if jimboo2017 might be interested in joining, he was down as a Socialist before a brief stint as a Labour member.
