Turnout 13.74% (2,159 out of 15,696). There were 11 spoilt ballots (10 unmarked or void for uncertainty, 1 voting for more options than entitled).

Chedington Parish Council Election of 5 councillors South Perrott Parish Council Election of 6 councillors Both November 28th. These are in Dorset and I have a feeling they are the result of a lack of candidates in May and again later, presmably leaving the councils inquorate. South Perrott has four candidates, so is unopposed with 1 vacancy to be filled by co-option. Cheddington on the other hand had no candidates and will therefore have to be re-run.

There will be a neighbourhood plan referendum in Motcombe, in the Northern part of Dorset, on November 7th. The electorate is 1,056. On a fairly respectable turnout of 35.3%, the plan was supported with 292 votes in favour and 74 votes against, which suggests this plan is slightly more controversial than the average. There will be a by election for Shaftesbury Town Council East Ward (both wards were contested in May) on general election day (December 12th).

From Labour. The whole village is one area for the parish. Twelve councillors were elected in May with Labour taking 11th and 12th, one of whom then stood down in September.

Well they're down from (depending how you calculate it) about 63% to 30% compared to two years ago ... ok it's one tiny ward but not exactly comfortable so close to the GE ..?

I know but there’s no Plaid/Remain Alliance surge and even in low key community council by-elections in winter enough Labour voters turn out.
