I remember an Alex Aitken who was quite a significant figure in the Conservative students back in the late 80s/early 90s. I don't think this is him..

Could that have been Alex Aiken, who went on to be Head of Press for CCHQ then head of Government communications, and is now heading off to Dubai and taking his wife Nickie (my MP) with him? |
