Well done to Cherwell who actually put some of the 2021 results back on the website when I asked for them.
The major council is Banbury, which was fully contested in 2021 (NB there are boundary changes for 2024, and Hardwick West will be increasing to five councillors):
Banbury - 13 Con, 9 Lab
Calthorpe North (1) - Con 260*, Lab 166, LD 56 Calthorpe South (2) - Con 651*/531*, Lab 377/295, LD 215 Easington North (1) - Con 83*, Lab 60 Easington South (2) - Con 799*/729*, Lab 335/316, LD 108 Grimsbury (3) - Lab 914*/743*/632*, Con 594, Green 378 Hardwick East (1) - Con 84*, Lab 74 Hardwick West (4) - Con 799*/749*/673*/625*, Lab 624/571/561/467, Ind 330 Neithrop North (1) - Lab 444*, Con 328 Neithrop South (1) - Lab 444*, Con 371, LD 88 Park (1) - Lab 176*, Con 95 Ruscote (4) - Lab 971*/744*/685*/672, Con 747*, Green 334 Town Centre (1) - Con 220*, Lab 211, Green 77
No other councils had party candidates, or a contested election in 2021. Adderbury (12) had 9 non-party candidates, Ardley (7) had 4, Arncott (7) had 5, Bodicote (10) had 6, Drayton (5) had 5, Hanwell (7) had 4, Piddington (7) had 5, Stoke Lyne (6) had 5.
Horley (7), and Wroxton (7) had their last elections in 2022, each attracting 7 non-party candidates, but as a result of changes in the recent CGR will be electing again this year for a two year term.

By election in Bicester (LD defence) straight LD/Con fight.
Not gone through the Banbury SOPNs in detail, but they are short of a full slate in a way that is surprising for a seat that’s supposedly a Labour target.

Results: Banbury - 19 Lab, 3 Con, 1 LD. Lab gain from ConCalthorpe North (1) - Lab 218*, Con 174 Calthorpe South (2) - Lab 627*, Con 417*/348, LD 350 Easington North (1) - Lab 55*, Con 49 Easington South (2) - Con 716*/612, Lab 678*, LD 389, Ind 264 Grimsbury (3) - Lab 688*/655*/626*, LD 316, Ind 296, Con 292, Green 282 Hardwick East (1) - Lab 93*, Con 70, LD 18 Hardwick West (5) - Lab 832*/748*/727* LD 477*, Con 454*/440/439/379, Ind 439 Neithrop North (1) - Lab 292*, Ind 143, Con 127 Neithrop South (1) - Lab 470*, Con 252 Park Road (1) - Lab 163*, Con 50 Ruscote (4) - Lab 856*/715*/613*/582*, Con 370, Ind 315, LD 230 Town Centre (1) - Lab 251*, Con 148
You'd think that with a full slate Labour would have won everything apart from the Con seat in Easington South, and perhaps even that.
