Six parishes with elections in 2024. They last elected in 2021, having been scheduled for 2020 before covid disrupted them. None of the six councils had a contested election in 2021, and the only party description was: Cumwhitton (8) - 1 LD, six others
The other parishes were: Brampton (15) - eleven candidates Carlatton & Cumrew (6) - six candidates Castle Carrock (7) - seven candidates Hayton (12) - five candidates Wetheral (15) - twelve candidates

Carolus
I am delighted that you are leading a movement of interest in parish council elections. I have felt like a lone voice in the past.
The parish nominations for Carlisle in 2021 were not published on the website and my e-mail to the elections office remained unanswered.
Where did you find the 2021 nominations and could you please provide a link?

Where did you find the 2021 nominations and could you please provide a link? I was able to get through via elections@cumberland.gov.uk a couple of weeks ago - they were helpful if somewhat literal in answering my questions (I ended up with the information above and didn't push for the specific candidate names or full SOPNs).
Re: parishes - even if their powers are rather limited, voters treat them seriously, so I think they're worthy of interest for that alone. And then of course from a psephological point of view plenty of them are clearly taken seriously by parties as well.
