Applying the shift in the polls, you get CON 35.6% LAB 34.5%. Add tactical voting, and Labour should hoover up Green and Lib Dem votes here, and win a by-election.

Alternatively if you apply the polling shift since the GE to the GE vote share, you get Con 45% Lab 37.5%

November 6. first day of the recall petition. Any news from the locality? Queues down the high street? Activists drumming up voters?

Mr Sheen accused of stealing a golden toilet? Surely too good to be true?

Labour had a campaign launch yesterday: Although in practice most of the surrounding CLPs have been working the constituency for a couple of weeks now.

I'm tempted to opportunistically stand for Labour here - this s a seat that could benefit from an MP with my Oxford Union debating skills.

I’m sure this is a truly excellent idea but joining the Labour Party and committing to support Labour candidates in all elections would be a most useful initial step to this highly likely end.

I’m not sure what the relevance of this test is but it was amusing that the Asian guy in the grey jumper came out as the ‘most intelligent’. Really defying stereotypes there
