I think it’s 48 Labour not 49.
Interesting that the Conservatives got a higher share and also got closer to the Lib Dem’s in Gosforth in 2023 than they did in 2021. Probably not that many wards nationally where they did that.

That is deeply unimpressive considering they had a councillor in Callerton and Throckley until last year and looked to be on the up and expanding elsewhere (if not exactly challenging yet). The question is whether it represents poor organisation or concentrated effort.
