Bin strikes are back on again. Can’t imagine it does the councils reputation much good.

Green gain the last seat from the Tories in Cleadon & East Bolden Independent gain from Labour in Horsley Hill Does anyone know what the story is with the independent? South Tyneside is an atrociously run council which has had yet another round of bin strikes recently. They will lose seats wherever there is a serious challenge.

If they are on strike, a very long queue?

So far
Ind 8 Lab 4 Greens 2
Still to declare: 4. One is a recount between Lab and Ind. 2 were won by Greens last year and 1 was won by Labour with 1% over an Independent last year. So likely Labour at beast at 5 seats
Edit
Ind 9 Lab 4 Greens 4
Still to declare 1 (the Lab-Ind recount)
