Luke Charles – Labour: 576 Kristine Alicia Cope – Green: 162 Richard John Cope – Green: 147 Robert Gordon Copland - Labour 563 Amarjit Khangura – Conservative: 619 (Elected for two years) Bhagwant Singh Pandher – Conservative: Conservative: 674 (Elected or four years Turnout: 28.62% On a personal level, very happy to see that Bhagwant was re-elected. This was Labour's safest ward in the borough a few elections ago and was very much an unknown quantity this time around. That's Poplar in Bedworth. Labour have won back Bede and Heath though. Yup. I'm seeing 5 labour and 5 Conservatives, basically what I predicted

Labour 20, Conservative 14, Green 2 with just Conservative Whitestone to come, so Labour win control here. Bedworth turned out a draw at 5-5, but Labour won several seats in Nuneaton.

Much as I thought, a very mixed bag, albeit slightly more in Labour's favour than I expected. I knew Arbury and attleborough would be knife edges, but expected those to go in the Conservatives favour. Will prove to be an interesting borough in 2026, with control of the council not being insurmountable for either party. Milby will be interesting to watch once more houses are built here, and could plausibly go Labour, Conservative or Green in future years.

It was always a possibility after the strong Labour recovery in N Warwickshire last year, the 2 areas have quite a bit of similarity although this borough is more urban
