Indeed one of the things one notes in Stroud is the degree of discrimination between candidates, to an extent of all 3 main parties here (but the poor Tories are getting the punishment that only FPTP can hand out).

I assumed she had completely retired from politics. However, really pleased to see her getting elected, and not surprised as she will be well known and respected in Stonehouse.

Never say things like this in the days of AI In the quaint town of Stroud, England, Mr. James-Hodges, a mild-mannered English gentleman, leads a simple life, blissfully unaware of the storm brewing in his own backyard. Little does he know that his peaceful existence is about to be shattered by the sinister ambitions of Command Drew, a former naval officer with a grandiose vision of establishing a new world order.
As James-Hodges goes about his routine, he stumbles upon a series of cryptic clues that hint at a dark conspiracy lurking beneath the surface of Stroud. Initially dismissing them as mere coincidences, he soon finds himself embroiled in a high-stakes game of cat and mouse as he uncovers the truth behind Command Drew's nefarious plans.
Determined to protect his beloved English way of life, Command Drew will stop at nothing to achieve his goals, unleashing a wave of chaos and destruction in his wake. With the fate of Stroud hanging in the balance, James-Hodges must rise to the occasion and confront the formidable adversary hell-bent on reshaping the world in his own image.
As the tension mounts and the stakes grow higher, James-Hodges finds unlikely allies in the form of fellow townsfolk who refuse to surrender to Command Drew's tyranny. Together, they embark on a perilous journey to thwart his schemes and preserve the essence of Stroud's identity.
Filled with heart-pounding action, gripping suspense, and unexpected twists, "Stroud Central" is a Hollywood blockbuster that explores the timeless themes of heroism, resilience, and the enduring spirit of community. It's a thrilling adventure that showcases the power of ordinary individuals coming together to defy tyranny and protect the values they hold dear.I'm thinking the studio might get Tom Stoppard in for a re-write. But 'Stroud and Guildford' are dead!
