Approximate changes: Crabbs Cross abolished and split between Astwood Bank & Feckenham, and West (renamed Webheath & Callow Hill). Abbey abolished and split between Batchley & Brockhill, Central, and Church Hill (renamed North). Greenlands abolished and split between Lodge Park (renamed Greenlands & Lakeside), Matchborough (renamed Matchborough & Woodrow), and a small part added to Headless Cross & Oakenshaw.
On current boundaries: Current council: 16 Con, 13 Lab
Split wards: Batchley & Brockhill - 2 Lab, 1 Con. 2023: Lab gain from Con by 23.8%. Central - 1 Con, 1 Lab. 2022: Lab hold by 24.8% over Con. Church Hill - 2 Lab, 1 Con. 2023: Lab gain from Con by 13.6%. Greenlands - 2 Lab, 1 Con. 2023: Lab hold over Con by 15.5%. Headless Cross & Oakenshaw - 2 Lab, 1 Con. 2023: Lab gain from Con by 3.4%. Lodge Park - 1 Con, 1 Lab. 2022: Lab hold by 29.7% over Con. Matchborough - 1 Con, 1 Lab. 2023: Lab gain from Con by 15.3% over Ind and 16.9% over Con.

It will be the case in many areas (and I won't repeat) but a party may have much more difficulty in fighting a full slate than on thirds. LDs and Grns fielded candidates in all wards in 2023 and 2021 bar one missing LD in 2021.

As described above the council size is reducing from 29 councillors to 27, elected in 9 wards, a reduction from the current 12.
12/16 Conservative councillors are standing for re election All 12 Labour councillors are standing for re election, The 1 Lib Dem ( elected as Labour) councillor is standing for re election.
This is the sort of the council where both the Conservatives and Labour can both win most of the wards when they have a good year.
I reckon it could be something like
Lab 20 (+8) Con 7 (-9) LD 0 (-1)

Greens won the 3rd seat by 62 votes over the 3rd Con Winyates 3 x Lab. 3rd seat won by 51 votes over Con
