I cannot see the Tories improving their chances here but I can see the Greens gaining a degree of momentum in Capel, Leigh, Newdigate & Charlwood and in Dorking North - although not enough to unseat our incumbent
Only seat change I see happening is we gain Leatherhead South from the Tories

It's interesting that the only Reform UK candidate happens to be their Candidate for Dorking & Horley Parliament
Capel, Leigh, Newdigate and Charlwood could be a tricky defence but I remain confident our two candidates will win

For the purposes of approximating total local election votes across certain constituencies, I have allocated the wards here as follows -
Dorking and Horley: Bookham East & Eastwick Park, Bookham West, Brockham Betchworth Buckland Box Hill & Headley*, Capel Leigh Newdigate & Charlwood, Dorking North, Dorking South, Fetcham, Holmwoods & Beare Green, Mickleham Westcott & Okewood
Epsom and Ewell: Ashtead Lanes & Common, Ashtead Park, Leatherhead North, Letherhead South
*I am sorry, "Brockham, Betchworth, Buckland, Box Hill and Headley" is taking the piss as a ward name. "Box Hill" is a well-known enough landmark to suffice.

A lot of the ward names in Mole Valley are very lengthy indeed BBBBHH would be much better called something like "Betchworth, Brockham and Box Hill" as those are the largest settlements in each extremity From what friends in Mole Valley have told me, it can be challenging to write some of the names of each ward tidily on a Focus or other literature

They should just call it Mole Valley East and have done with it.

My A-level History tutor was a Lib Dem Councillor in Dorking. This was mid 2000s. His politics seemed more to the left then the party, but this was when Charles Kennedy was leader and he was in Mole Valley and probably wanted to be a Councillor.
