Reform UK candidate is Alan Cook (who is also parliamentary spokesman for Bromley and Biggin Hill).

Of the 14 single member London Assembly seats, this could very well be the only one the Conservatives hold at the election in May.

I certainly think they will lose South-West (in all likelihood, behind both opposition parties). They may hold on in Croydon & Sutton as well

There is the argument I’ve seen used by a few people that the Tories will hold up better in London on the basis that they’ve already fallen pretty far there, although that may apply more to the general election than Mayor and Assembly

Looks potentially close too

Agreed although this might be the reverse in areas with large Jewish populations who might be more likely to vote in a General Election than a local election due to foreign policy affairs so they may do conceivably better in Barnet and parts of Harrow at the General Election.

The Lib Dem candidate is afraid of the national flag.

So, she says she's not in a position to comment on the literature of an opposing party, and then proceeds to do just that.

Bexley have put up a link to the SOPN that doesn't work. The notice of agents does (https://www.bexley.gov.uk/sites/default/files/2024-03/notice-of-election-agents-names-and-offices-GLA-2024.pdf) and reveals that there are five candidates. Presumably one for each of the parties.

Bromley is the lead borough so this may be a case of the Bexley webmanager over compensating for the wait.

I was in the Orpington/Biggin Hill area this week. No sign of any activity.
What a bloody nice part of the world.
