The latest Opinium poll - some big shifts going on or is it an outlier? I don't think it's very surprising, when the Conservatives are forming their circular firing squad.

The latest Opinium poll - some big shifts going on or is it an outlier? Conservatives down five seems a bit large to be an outlier. With the UKIP share up two percent it's likely that some leave voters who are unhappy with the proposed Brexit deal are turning back to UKIP. Any movement towards Labour may be noise (as Labour are in their normal range), but there may be more clues in any supplementary questions that's been asked.

Its 49% now. Labour up 4 to 26 and UKIP up 6 to 16

This is the first time UKIP have led the Lib Dems since April 2017 Interesting, though obviously not very welcome. Perhaps the relative invisibility of UKIP has contributed to this - as soon as they emerge from the shadows and start saying what they're really about, people get cold feet about them. Otherwise it's possible to project onto them what you think they're for, and apart from getting out of the EU, that can be fairly vague.

But yeah, no surprise that when the issue gets extra salience their ratings go up. Especially now there is just a seed of doubt whether it will happen after all.

It's nothing to do with UKIP which is on its beam ends - it's just the angry right-wing Tory tossheads who are lashing out at May.

Indeed, if UKIP were asked to fight an election in their current state, they would have a very hard time. They are already vacating council seats because of lack of candidates, and where they do stand they are doing poorly. We'll see whether this poll is just a flash in the pan pretty soon.

That sounds even better than Knapman and the giant squid. Oh, it is. He marketed them as a mentally-enhancing boost, and an alternative to diets riddled with soy which supposedly 'turned men feminist'. The best part about his ad was that, aside from being almost universally reviled wherever it had been reviewed, Brainforce actually contained soy.

Vitamin pills always seem to be a vehicle for quacks and weirdoes.
