Since 1983 (when which when I became aware of general elections) we have had some wonderful constituencies (in either shape or name) that have sadly gone by the wayside. The ones that I particular miss the most are:
1983 - 1992 Parliament: Plymouth Drake, Romsey and Waterside, Lindsey East, Boothferry, Davyhulme, Tyne Bridge
1997 - 2010 Parliament: Skipton and Ripon, Beverley and Holderness
Which constituency names would you like to see making a comeback and are they able to be made to fit the rules?

The two 1997-2010 constituencies still exist.

Even if you re-add Corwen and Llandrillo, Meirionydd on its own lacks sufficient electors to form a constituency by itself; most likely what will happen is at the next boundary review it'll remain with Dwyfor and perhaps get merged with Caernarfon, we shall see.

Here are constituency names I can see being brought back as a result of this review (albeit with different boundaries to their old versions in most cases):
Cardiff South East East Flintshire West Flintshire Birmingham Handsworth Brigg West Hertfordshire (NB: The 1983-97 constituency with that name was in reality 'North West' Hertfordshire) South Hertfordshire (not too different from the 1974-83 version except for the added town of Bushey) Harwich, North Essex (separated from each other by redrawing of Clacton and Harwich & North Essex constituencies to return to their former boundaries) Isle of Ely (although this time without Wisbech) South West Cambridgeshire (now including St Ives from Huntingdon[shire]) Hammersmith & Fulham Maidstone (without the Weald) East Grinstead Andover Falmouth & Camborne Truro & St Austell Bodmin Oswestry Shrewsbury (without the Atcham) Ormskirk Liverpool Garston Radcliffe-cum-Farnworth Tyne Bridge Wallsend Consett Chester-Le-Street Pudsey & Otley (easier to justify than Leeds West & Pudsey) Bridlington Penistone (without Stocksbridge) Dearne Valley Barnsley Belper (somewhat different to pre-1983 version) Ilkeston Caernarfonshire Carmarthen Barry

Romsey and Waterside could make a comeback, but I wouldn't recommend it (both because it was a silly constituency and because it screws up the boundaries in the rest of Hampshire).

At least one of the maps people have come out with for Warwickshire recreates Rugby and Kenilworth (split up in 2010), though it's missing a few bits of Rugby.

Old Sarum, even though it might fall a bit short of quota.

King's Lynn Lowestoft* Belper Sleaford Upminster Hornchurch Hammersmith & Fulham Wembley Woolwich Wallsend* Consett Accrington Bolton Bury Altrincham & Sale Oxford Romsey Andover Petersfield Havant & Waterloo Dorking* Tonbridge Maidstone Gravesend Bodmin Truro & St Austell Falmouth & Camborne Bournemouth East & Christchurch Bristol North*
Taunton* Hereford Shrewsbury* Walsall Monmouthshire Carmarthen
*Different name for constituency whose boundaries have been essentially unchanged. Without double-checking my spreadsheets, I believe I have put forward all of these too, though my 'Walsall' is in effect the successor to Aldridge-Brownhills, and my Bournemouth East & Christchurch is called 'Christchurch and Boscombe' (keeping in mind that I never came up with a workable plan for Yorkshire & The Humber, so the last part of your list isn't relevant to my proposals). Oh, and my Oxford is dubbed 'City of Oxford'. Might I ask why you have re-separated Somerton and Frome, and Tiverton and Honiton? I'd like to see more radical solutions for Devon and Somerset, but the duty to take into account current boundaries wouldn't seem to allow for it (unless the legislation is changed with the specific aim of reviving old seat names).
