Unfortunately you have to do one of the three so which is the least worst? No you don't. Three Wirral seats, one Wirral ward with Ellesmere Port and Neston and then a Chester seat. this is 650 seats and wirral is 3.41 quota meaning it needs to be combined with 1/2 of Ellesmere Port OR Chester or cross Mersey

You mean Banks of Dee & Mersey How about Vale Royal West and South-west Wirral? The BCE would probably have called it simply North-West Cheshire - as with North-West Cambridgeshire much of your blue sprawl is outside the current county boundary, but that doesn't seem to worry the BCE too much!

AustralianSwingVoter, the general quota deviance allowed under the old system was also 10%, not 5%. This alone makes any constituency redrawing plan much easier (the range with a 10% deviance would be 62,084-75,880) Under the old system, there was no legal maximum deviation at all. The Boundary Commission imposed on itself a limit of +/-10,000, i.e. about 14%, but that limit was voluntary and not statutory. There were a few places where even that limit was exceeded for geographical reasons (one example was that Northumberland had 4 constituencies instead of 3, because of the large empty space in Berwick and Hexham).

Please can some people go through my maps and comment on them, please? And that is why it is better to spread out your posts instead of posting them all at once. If you make 30 posts at once people will just skip over the lot of them, while if you posted one county each day you would be much more likely to get comments on them.

Please can some people go through my maps and comment on them, please? I thought we had been promised relief from this sort of whining and pressure to respond and yet only a couple of days later here it is again. I move to ban.
