Easy to forget ALBA has two MPs Only a matter of time before 1 more MP does something crazy/disgusting/illegal, gets the whip removed and then the "Independents" will jump ahead of the Lib Dems into 4th place!!
(says a lot about the current crop of MPs...from all parties!)
But if it is too crazy/disgusting/illegal, there would be a by-election and the LDs would jump back into 4th by winning it.

The map pages of the National Library of Scotland covering the whole of the UK is one of the best arguments for continuing the union.

I could look at this map until the cows come home I’m surprised he’s surprised. I thought it was well known that farming in East Anglia is dominated by the arable sector.

Fairly elementary schoolboy geography. Warm wet west. Better grass. More grass. Cattle/Milk/Cheese/Meat Cool wet central highlands. Poorer grass. Less grass. Sheep/Wool/Meat Cooler drier flatter east. Better soils and broad level fields. Grains/Flour/Feed/Malt/Beet/Sugar/Vegetables.

I guess the agricultural labourers of Suffolk were too poor to be able to afford alcohol.

I guess the agricultural labourers of Suffolk were too poor to be able to afford alcohol. No, it tells you that the local police weren't interested in booking people for drunkenness. It's a very interesting map but it does not show what Rowntree clearly believed it to...

That is not right because the Mayor (who is Labour) is a member of the City Council.
