Just came on to this thread to post that Jane Healey Brown is a very good friend of mine. I was the second person to retweet that, and I feel slightly bad about setting it on the path to going viral.

Why is that going viral a "bad" thing? Covid seems to have given virus a bad name?

The Bury Owl looks more than a little alarmed to be so close to the Bolton Cat. Surprisingly the Salford goldfish doesn't seem at all perturbed.

Why is that going viral a "bad" thing? Because it is merely irreverent towards a map of a Met, which isn't sufficient. Today's 8-year-olds need to be taught active disdain for the fake counties!

I can't think of a better way to regenerate Highbridge!
ftfy your prime minister says there's nothing wrong with hugging them. No doubt politically incorrect bunny-hugging it something Johnson would like to have done at the residence of the late Hugh Hefner.

I have already shared this image on the Old Councils forum; it probably deserves a wider audience here. It definitely falls into the category of 'pretty maps'! We see the wards of Chiswick Urban District as they existed between 1904 and 1927. (Chiswick was merged with Brentford in 1927 to create Brentford and Chiswick UD.)

1935 'changes' compared to 1924 (GB territorial):- The Con 'gains' from Constitutionalist are a bit of a cheat. * Thanks to Georg Ebner for the improvements

1945 'upsets':- Those seats coloured in red were Labour gains beyond UNS whereas the Tory holds (below UNS) are blue. Left the new seats alone although likely there were a few surprise Labour gains.
