Incidentally, I should have been in Holyhead today to catch a ferry to Ireland. Maybe next year.

I'm rather amused that Labour lost the seat in Caergybi, which must be Anglesey's poorest ward, and gained the seat in Ynys Gybi, which is mainly populated by the more wealthy retired..

5 wards... Now I'm curious; which principal level local authority has the fewest wards/divisions? I think this is it. In general Scottish authorities have rather few due to STV requiring larger wards. Inverclyde, West Dunbartonshire, and Midlothian all have six wards.

The only other principal council with five wards is the Scilly Isles - one ward for each of the inhabited islands. Didn't Scilly used to be a single at-large ward? No, it's always had the same electoral arrangements: one electoral district per island. Currently St Mary's returns twelve councillors and the other four islands return one each.

Excellent work as always - though on the page you have NRMUPB in the candidates list but NRMUBP in the glossary. I'm impressed they managed to beat the Lib Dem in Calton.
