For advance notice to the UKIP aligned forum members I wish to advise that I have just now requested to Swancardian that I be moved from the UKIP leaning description to the UKIP description. I hope noone is put out of joint as a result or that I am not currently a party member. There are two reasons. 1. The wish of the forum owner to delete the 'leaning' descriptions due to an apparent limit to the total number of available descriptions. 2. Rather than purging away as I feared and many probably hoped Ms James appears to be making an honest attempt at internal reconciliation. How's that project going?

Why are some members suddenly Lab & Co-Op? CatholicLeft asked me specifically if he could be displayed as such. I then asked the longer standing Labour members by private message if any of them wanted the same. So far only john07 has come forward. So there are two such members so far.

How's that project going? It seemed to be going fine for about 18 days, thank you.

I wonder if this is simply an expression of an emotional hankering long held, or if CatholicLeft or john07 actually are considering the possibility that Labour Co_op may adopt a position that is more distinct from the main body of the Labour party? It is no secret that both are somewhat detached from Corbynism, but I doubt that was the sole motivation. They can speak for themselves, however

At this rate, I'll have to request Conservative and Unionist... (Just don't stick New Force on the end... :-) ) It can be arranged.

Are we doing the requesting a new & different usergroup thing again? I will admit that I had briefly considered asking for a "Labour Leaning" group, seeing as that's how I've tended to vote in most of past elections, but then after some considering and reviewing one's post history (which included quite a few instances of making fun of Labour's misfortunes), I've figured that I'll stick with my current Non Aligned status, for now...

It's nothing to do with me - I just find your persistently angry postings where you clearly hate the party you represent something of a mystery. I don't stay in organisations I no longer sympathise with. But then I take the John McDonnell view of political parties - vehicles to achieve change not tribal affiliations with colours attached. I have one of those too but they play in blue and don't do poliics

Red in politics and blue in football Mind you at one time the Tories liked to present themselves as essentially apolitical in rural areas

We were and we are 'a political' force 'in dependent' rural areas. EDIT I am of course of the Deep Blue in politics and Red in football.

Merseymike is doing his best to get most of the Forum red team to defect. He won't succeed. It would be simpler if Merseymike defected. He has previous on this after all.
