I have a Scottish home address still, I'm registered to vote there. I've never registered in England.

I would like to apply to join the Conservative group after 4 years as a member of UKIP (outside the forum).
The petty infighting and rather loathsome figures at the top of the party means I can no longer support UKIP. I'm impressed with May's premiership so far, she seems to be "getting on with the job" with a team of professionals UKIP could only dream of.

A bit of information to impart regarding the forum party groups, if anyone is interested:
By coincidence, the sole respective members of both the Lib Dem leaning and Green leaning groups asked me to reassign them elsewhere this evening. Both said groups have been deleted. I have decided I would like to phase out all the "leaning" groups on the basis that you either support a party or you don't - and more to the point, I want to create some space as ProBoards allow only a limited number of groups to exist. I have created a National Health Action group and an Ulster Unionist group since I took on my role a few weeks ago.
Only the UKIP leaning group remains. It only has two members, one of whom hasn't posted since before the last general election. I do not intend to create any more such groups for the reasons stated.
I was also on the brink of getting rid of the None of the Above group - as I have no sympathy with the entire premise of its existence - but someone asked me if they could re-join it today. As I'm a nice, accommodating sort of bloke, I reluctantly obliged.

I'm here if they want to sign up. I can see why a Sinn Fein supporter might be reluctant to join a forum called Vote UK Forum, even though I wouldn't force them swear an Oath of Allegiance to me. |
