Fuck it, I'm going to risk joining the Conservatives. Hopefully I don't grow devil horns in the morning. Besides, I'm too young to be grey. AdminSTB The way things were going with your views, it was kind of inevitable... Least I'm not a hippie. 63% Green indeed.

Though, truth be told, I'd be more inclined to vote for them if only they got a grip on certain science & technology issues (note the lack of overlap with them in that particular category).

Like most of these things, I wasn't terribly happy with several of the questions but it gave a reasonably plausible result, which was something like LD 78%, Lab 76%, Green 72%, Con 41%, UKIP 24%.

I ask to join the Conservatives yesterday, and today I wake up with a cold.
Coincidence?

And now, the revelation that I'm the last (regularly active) member who's part of a "Leaning" group... ... I'll stay where I am.

Liberal Democrats - 54% Conservatives - 53% Labour - 49% Greens - 45% UKIP - 31%
I side with Labour and UKIP on immigration while on foreign policy I side with the Conservatives and Greens.

I got very similar results but in my case Lab was one point ahead of LD. Maybe we should enter into some sort of arrangement like "pairing" in the Commons.

I ask to join the Conservatives yesterday, and today I wake up with a cold. Coincidence? I've been suffering for the last week, so you may have caught it from me at the Special Conference arranged to welcome you. Remember, what happens at Conference, stays at Conference.

I side with Liberal Democrats on most political issues of the 2015 Election (according to the I side with site)
Apart from being polar opposite to their EU stance I would have had them down as last on my own list.
here is the breakdown.
Parties you side with... Liberal Democrat 61% Liberal Democrat on healthcare, economic, electoral, environmental, education, and science issues Vote for Labour 60% Labour on healthcare, economic, environmental, and education issues Vote for SNP 56% SNP on healthcare, economic, electoral, and environmental issues Vote for Conservative 52% Conservative on immigration, transportation, domestic policy, education, environmental, science, and criminal issues Vote for Green 46% Green on healthcare, economic, electoral, and environmental issues Vote for UKIP 45% UKIP on immigration, social, domestic policy, education, science, and criminal issues

Thought I would give the ISideWith quiz a go.
Parties I side with: Lab 73% LD 71% Green 59% Con 48% UKIP 37%
Yet more evidence to suggest what I've long suspected, that I'm just a milquetoast, panty-waist centre-leftist at heart...
I did find it interesting, though, that the regional breakdown of the quiz results showed very little difference between Scotland and the UK as a whole (the SNP wasn't included in the Scottish tally, but beyond that the 'big two' were roughly neck and neck in both instances).

Scots have a self-perception of themselves as being more left-wing than the English, but social attitude surveys don't really bear that out. Interestingly, Americans aren't that far from Europeans either by most measures.

uk.isidewith.com/results/2936128671UKIP 62% Con 55% LD 41% Lab 38% for some reason no Green party listed. i like the stuff below, particularly liked this bit "St. Albans Constituency voters side mostly Conservative. You disagree with most St. Albans voters on almost all issues, especially Social and Healthcare issues. You might want to consider moving to one of these regions." - it then seems to suggest I should move to Sandridge

They could make an app that worked with your sat nav. "At the roundabout take the third exit. You are now entering the London Borough of Camden. You disagree violently with over 90% of the voters and think that 56% of them are pillocks. You may wish to drive to Enfield."
