Sheffield Philadelphia or Mosborough Townships would both be great names. I've already posted this in the Yorkshire & The Humber thread but, if we could have a seat that stretched from Rotherham to Worksop we could have a seat called "Wales & Rhodesia" A bus company based near Caernarfon bought some second-hand vehicles from a South Yorkshire operator. They arrived with the destination blinds set to 'Wales'.

But when he sent his report into the office they apparently (!) changed it so it said (something like) "Worksop Town beat Dronfield Town, by our correspondent in Zimbabwe" !

I know I've said it before but please could the Scottish Boundary Commission keep names as short as possible within reason.

Repeating myself a bit here. Constituency names should be free and easy. Almost without restriction. Go mad. No one part of the country should have a policy on parliamentary constituency naming which dictates the rules elsewhere. Consistency should always be a framing device not the entire cogs and wheels. I think your account has been hijacked by the Bob Ross Lipsum. At that specific point in time my account had been "hacked" by half a bottle of wine....

Rather like when a Christian news website in the US reported on the performance of the sprinter 'Tyson Homosexual'.

I will need to change that one in Sheffield, since at the moment I have the seats named alliteratively 'Andsworth, 'Allam, 'Eeley, 'Ecclesall, 'Ecclesfield and 'Illsborough. (or five of those, any road.)

When I moved from Sheffield in 2012, theyd raised some more money, which will be why I thought they'd moved.

Sheffield Philadelphia or Mosborough Townships would both be great names. How about "Dresden and Florence" borough constituency? Ok, those areas may not be the most representative ones in the south of Stoke, but it's a cooler name than Stoke-On-Trent south.
"Holywood and the Gold Coast" might omit the name of the largest settlement, but it's a more intriguing name than North Down.

"South Shore and the Golden Mile" would do wonders for Blackpool...

A seat taking in Kidderminster, Fleetwood and the Orkneys could be Wyre, wyre & the Wyre. If you added Warrington as well it would be Wyre, Wyre, Wyre and the Wire.
